Prior to joining St. Edward’s University, Donna Beuk, EdD, MSN, RN, founding director of nursing, professor of nursing, St. Edward’s University, served as founding dean of the College of Health Science & Human Performance at University of Texas Permian Basin. She held appointments as academic chair of the School of Nursing at Husson University, and dean of Education/BSN director at Pacific College. Beuk held faculty positions at the University of Mobile and Auburn University after spending 12 years as a practicing nurse with experience in varied settings including hospitals, clinics and facilities serving veterans and critical care patients.
