Certified Medical Assistant (MA) Apprenticeship

The MA apprenticeship combines classroom learning and on-the-job training. Classroom learning can be provided online or in-person to prepare you for the job and your certification exam.

Paid on-the-job training will be completed with a participating healthcare employer through hands-on experience observing and learning from mentors in the clinics. Employers will schedule on-the-job-training for you to complete the competencies to master the skills of a MA. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you are eligible to sit for the national certification exam.
