Become a Contracted Provider

Licensed or registered child care providers in Austin/Travis County may apply to become contracted providers with Workforce Solutions Capital Area Child Care Services (CCS). Contracted providers receive reimbursement for serving families receiving child care scholarships and must meet licensing, compliance, and program requirements.

Become a contracted provider through Workforce Solutions

Any licensed or registered provider of child care services in Austin/Travis County may apply to have a provider agreement with CCS.

To have an agreement to provide child care services, a provider:

  • Must have a current license or registration with the Texas Department of Health and Human Services (TDHHS), the United States Military Services, or the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) as a child care center, licensed day care home, registered family home, or a youth camp
  • Must not be on corrective or adverse action or corrective denial with these agencies
  • Must have established a satisfactory compliance history with these agencies
  • May not be an “Applicant Status” with Child Care Licensing

Note: CCS will also consult with other agencies, such as the Child Care Food Program of the Texas Department of Health & Human Services, to determine whether a satisfactory compliance history has been established.

Providers must sign and comply with the CCS provider agreement and participate in the Texas Rising Star program.

Interested providers must schedule an individual orientation appointment by contacting CCS at ccsproviderservices@wfscapitalarea.com.
